Welcome to my blog!

Travelling is so freeing and inspiring. One of my favourite parts is getting to learn about new cultures, taste amazing cuisines and meet incredible people along the way.

Since a young age, I have been lucky enough to go travelling to various destinations with my family such as California, Spain, Greece and Florida. After the covid pandemic, I felt I needed to get away so I signed up for Camp America which was the start of my solo travelling adventures. It was daunting at first but in the end the most incredible experience. I realised how much I love to travel and want to share it with others.

Chicago, Illinois

  Hey,  After working as a camp counsellor, I travelled to states near Ohio. The first stop was Chicago. I took a Greyhound bus from Cincinnati through Indianapolis and finally stopped in Chicago.  I spent around three days exploring the city. Day 1- 4th August 2022: I said goodbye to my friends in Cincinnati and took off on a Greyhound bus heading for Chicago, stopping at Indianapolis. Indianapolis was lovely, I spent a few hours walking around the city before jumping on the bus to Chicago. It was about a 4-hour journey. Once arriving at the bus station, I headed straight to the hostel called  HI Chicago Hostel  to check in. After checking in, I headed to the nearest CVS to purchase a padlock to store my items in the locker, as they don't provide one. Atlanta, Georgia

 Hey,  Now Atlanta was one of my favourite destinations, when there I decided to take an hour car ride to Covington Georgia because one of my favourite tv shows of all time was filmed in that location. I spent around 5 days in the city. Day 1- 9th August 2022 I took a flight from Nashville to Atlanta, then figured out my way around the underground to get to my hotel. After getting settled into my room in the Marriott Marquis Hotel  where part of hunger games was filmed in the lobby, I went to get Chipotle for dinner.     The views from my hotel room were insane, especially during sunsets and sunrise. Day 2- 10th August 2022 Woke up nice and early so I would make it to the Mystic Falls Tour in Covington, Georgia. Will discuss more of this in my next blog post. New York City, New York

 Hey,  When I was younger my family and I took a trip to New York City and I could not wait to go back so before returning home I visited the big apple. Now I have a love for musicals so it felt like a dream to be in New York, the home of Broadway! When in New York I stayed at the HI NYC hostel  which is in a great location. The hostel is near a subway station, 0.3 miles from central park and  Day 1- 20th August 2022 Once arriving in the city I took a bus from the airport to my hostel. The buses were regular and you just had to tap your card on the machines on the bus. After checking in to the hostel I took a 2 minute walk to the nearest McDonald's for food then had an early night's sleep.     Day 2- 21st August 2022 It was my first day in the city so I decided to go to the nearby subway station to get a metro card for the days I was there.
